Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is reportedly losing weight rapidly, as per sources within the Aam Aadmi Party. They revealed on Wednesday that he has shed 4.5four kilograms since his arrest. Reports from March 27 cited a party leader, who preferred to remain anonymous, stating, “CM Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level is continuously fluctuating and has dropped to 46. Doctors say that it is very dangerous for sugar levels to go so low.”

Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Arvind Kejriwal, also provided insight into his health, mentioning that he has diabetes. Despite irregular sugar levels, she highlighted his strong determination to overcome challenges.

Sources within the Enforcement Directorate (ED) stated that Arvind Kejriwal was looked after well during his custody. They mentioned that a team was assigned to monitor his health and dietary needs, with his sugar levels being checked daily and deemed satisfactory by the medical team. The custodial interrogation was kept minimal, and he was provided with necessary items, including candies and food, as advised by the medical team.

Certain reports indicated that while detained in Tihar jail, the Delhi CM is permitted to have home-cooked meals for lunch and dinner, a provision that will continue until his sugar levels stabilize. Additionally, a prison official mentioned that on his initial night in Tihar jail, Kejriwal spent time pacing back and forth in his 14×8 feet cell and managed to sleep only briefly.
