Arun Kumar Saxena, a former senior officer of the Indian Railway Signal and Telecommunication Service (IRSSE) and former General Manager of North Central Railway, has been appointed as an advisor to the Railway Board. Its orders were issued on Friday, 11 March 2022. Shri Saxena will look after the matters relating to “Kavach” and Signaling Department in Railway Board especially with other responsibilities. This appointment of Mr. Saxena has been done for a tenure of one year at present. Shri Saxena is known as a hard working, loyal and capable officer dedicated to the work. The Railway Minister has done a very right thing by assigning him the responsibility of taking care of “Kavach” and upgrading the signaling system of Indian Railways.
