Army Chief MM Naravane visits Southern Command, reviews operational situation. India News – Times of India

New Delhi: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen. M.M. Of course visited on friday southern command and reviewed operating conditions in the regions.
According to an official release, General Naravane The Southern Command is on a two-day visit.
During his visit to Pune, COAS reviewed the operation of assembly lines passenger and commercial vehicles and Engineering Research Center (ERC).
General Naravane also visited the Strategic Systems Complex (SSC) of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) at Talegaon near Pune to see their production facilities and developmental efforts towards modernization of the Indian Armed Forces.
COAS briefed on various defense related programs and engagements with L&T Indian Army.
COAS appreciated the efforts of both the indigenous manufacturers in promoting Atmanirbhar Bharat in defense manufacturing.
General Naravane will visit on the second day of his two-day tour of Southern Command i.e. on 7th August. INS Hansa, an Indian Naval air station near Dabolim in Goa.
