Armaan Malik Reflects On Criticism For Singing English Songs: People Recommend ‘Don’t Try To Be Justin Bieber’

Because whenever you do something, people don’t expect that you are going against the rule, against the rule book and there will always be negatives and people who will always be against what you are trying to achieve. And that’s totally fine,” he told the publication.

Armaan said that he aspires to be an Indian artist, which Indian fans can establish on a global scale. “Even if there are people who say, ‘You better sing in Hindi, better you sing only in Hindi, not sing in English…’ ‘Don’t try to be Justin Bieber’, is what people say. I don’t think I’m trying to be someone. A lot of people have these misconceptions when you try to do something different.
