TMKOC stars Raj Anadkat and Palak Sindhwani as Tappu and Sonu respectively

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one such show that we are all familiar with. Indian television sitcom has been ruling the hearts of people for the last 13 years. Many of the cast of the show like Dilip Joshi, Shailesh Lodha, and others share great chemistry both in reel and real life. However, we can guarantee to be good friends in real life after watching the on-screen performances of Palak Sidhwani and Raj Anadkat. But think what, they are not! Surprisingly, on-screen best friends are not friends in real life.
For the unaware, Palak plays the role of Sonu and Raj plays the role of Tappu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Tappu is the leader of the army and Sonu is his best friend. Sonu is the heart of Tappu as she is the only girl in the group.
In an earlier interview with Telly Chakkar, Palak reveals that she maintains a professional relationship with Raj but she is not friends with him. However, he said that he has good relations with Samay Shah alias Gogi, Kush Shah alias Goli and Azhar Sheikh alias Pinku. He further said that the cast of the show is huge and it is not necessary that everyone gets along. However, she feels that Raj is a professional and a fine artist.
In 2019, after Palak was out of the show, Nidhi Bhanushali was replaced in the show. Talking about her selection and recalling the calls she got from the casting director, she told the portal, “My father turned to me and asked me if I got a job in his office because that was my passion for acting. were unaware of. All three of us smiled at his question and explained to him that I will be seen as Sonu Bhide in the show.
