Salman Khan’s brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan met the actor at their Galaxy Apartments home, a day after Salman and his father Salim Khan received threatening letters. During the morning walk on Sunday, Salim received a threatening note, in which he and Salman were threatened. Mumbai Police had registered an FIR in Bandra.
A CBI team went to meet Salman at his residence on Monday in connection with the letter. Hours after the CBI officers met him, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan reached Salman’s house. Paparazzi sees Arbaaz and Sohail talking to the police officers.
Meanwhile, PTI reported that Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey addressed the threat letter and said that the authorities are actively investigating the threat. “Our officers are actively probing the matter. No one has been taken into custody so far… It is too early to say whether the letter is fake. Earlier in the day, news agency ANI reported that the Maharashtra Home Department has beefed up the security of Salman Khan following the threat letter.
The letter was reportedly received by Salim after his morning walk on Sunday. The officer said he was sitting on a bench at Bandra Bandstand after his morning walk, which is his routine, when an unidentified person handed him a letter threatening to kill Salim and Salman. Salim, with the help of his security personnel, approached the police and an FIR under Section 506-II (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered at the Bandra police station.
Amidst the investigation, ETimes reported that Salman is all set to fly to Hyderabad on Monday for the next schedule of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. “Salman and the entire team will be flying to Hyderabad today for a 25-day program of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. After this, Salman will be back and join the schedule of Tiger 3 in Mumbai,” said a source.
