Arbaaz Khan opens up about being in brother Salman Khan’s ‘Chhaya’

Filmmaker and actor Arbaaz Khan, who is back with the second season of his talk show Pinch, has been promoting the show in various interviews. Arbaaz, like his talk shows, is very candid in most of the interviews. The actor was recently asked about the ‘disadvantages’ of being a brother Salman Khan. Arbaaz said that though it sometimes feels like being in Salman’s ‘shadow’ is a bad thing, he cannot make excuses for his career.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Arbaaz said, ‘I don’t think there is any harm in being the brother of a star like Salman Khan, what will actually happen? It is very easy to say that the expectations are too high, but I chose this profession. It was not imposed on me; I chose a profession where my father is Salim Khan and my brother is Salman Khan.”

He further added, “It is not their search or their concern that what pressure I go through. And it’s not even my concern to worry about what people think in terms of comparison. I am fighting my own battle, I have my own journey.”

He said that even though he may not have reached the level of Salman Khan in terms of star-status, he feels that he is reaching there. He said he enjoys what he does. Arbaaz said that it would be an excuse to say that his career did not flourish because his brother was much older than a star and there were many comparisons.

Meanwhile, Salman made a guest appearance in Pinch Season 2, which premiered on July 21. Other guests visiting the show include Ananya Panday, Kiara Advani, Ayushmann Khurrana, Farah Khan.
