Apple may launch 1TB storage model of iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max – Times of India

We’re officially a day away from Apple’s biggest event of the year and so much has been said about what to expect. However, this does not mean that no further information can be inserted. The latest scoop comes from Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who gives some more details about the expected Apple products — the iPhone 13 series and AirPods 3 — in an investor note.
iphone 13 series
According to Kuo, the storage capacity of iPhones is expected to reach 1TB this year with the Pro model. Both the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro are expected to offer up to 1TB of storage, making them the first iPhones to offer that much on-board storage. For the non-Pro models – iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini – one can expect the storage to be similar to the iPhone 12 Duo, i.e. 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
airpods 3
Apple is said to launch the third generation AirPods on September 14, not the second generation airpods pro, according to Kuo. However, the new AirPods may feature a design that is similar to the AirPods Pro.
Due to this, Kuo believes that the AirPods lineup could follow either course after the launch of the new AirPods. In the first case, Kuo says that Apple may launch third-generation ‘AirPods’ at a higher price than existing second-generation ‘AirPods’, keeping the current model in line. Or, Apple could lower the price of existing AirPods and replace it with third-generation AirPods at the $199 price point.
So, according to Kuo Apple plans to keep the second generation ‌AirPods‌ in the lineup as there may still be customers who prefer the older design.

Since the design changes are set to take place, Kuo suggests that Apple was experiencing production issues. Because of this, production of the new models was largely delayed but Apple seems to have resolved the issue.
Thus, the mass production of panel modules is now scheduled to start in mid-September. He also said that Apple’s supplier Luxshare is “aggressively duplicating production lines” with the aim of making the Watch Series 7 widely available by mid- to late October.
