The report also said that Apple has also secured a supply of semiconductor chips, and this has helped with the company’s expansion plan to bring production to India. Production of iphone 13 India will help Apple improve the supply of the model to global markets. Executives told the Economic Times that 20-30 per cent of the production in India is usually exported. Apple and Foxconn did not respond to a request for comment.

The report also states that while Apple plans to produce the iPhone 13 in India, the supply of all iPhones has improved. The iPhone 13 is the best-selling smartphone in the latest iPhone 13 series, and Apple doesn’t plan to iphone 13 pro And iphone 13 pro max in country.

Apple already produces iphone 11 and the iPhone 12 at the Foxconn plant in Chennai. The iPhone SE is manufactured at the Wistron plant in Bengaluru. The report also cites estimates indicating that Apple produces around 70 per cent of the smartphones sold in India in the country.
