The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh is expected to release the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or AP TET 2024 result soon. Candidates who took the exam will be able to check their scores by visiting the official website at aptet.apcfss.in, once declared.

The exams were conducted between February 27 and March 9. The final answer key has already been published by the department and the results are likely to be out anytime soon. There are two papers in the exam. Candidates who qualify for paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and the candidates who clear paper 2 will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8.

AP TET 2024 Result: Qualifying Marks

To qualify for AP TET, candidates must secure 60 per cent or above. Candidates belonging to the BC category, are required to secure 50 per cent and above marks. SC, ST, differently abled, ex-servicemen category candidates are required to attain 40 per cent and above marks.

AP TET 2024: How to Check Scores?

Step 1: Visit aptet.apcfss.in.

Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter the required credentials.

Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and keep a hard copy for future reference.

To apply for AP TET 2024, candidates must have a minimum of 45 per cent marks in class 12 or its equivalent. Those who have cleared a two-year diploma in education or two-year diploma in elementary education or four years of bachelor’s in elementary education are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Furthermore, candidates who scored at least 50 per cent marks in class 12 and have a two-year diploma in elementary education/ four years of bachelor’s in elementary education/two-year diploma in education may also apply. Those who have completed graduation along with a two-year diploma in elementary education or graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and completed a bachelor of education are also eligible to apply for AP TET.

Those who have completed post-graduation with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd/ MEd can also apply. It is to be noted that candidates applying for Paper 2(A) must have completed a bachelor of oriental language or its equivalent or concerned language or subject as optional. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in literature or post-graduation in the concerned language can also apply for the paper.
