Information and Public Relations Minister Perni Venkatramaiah said that the state government aims to fill up 41,000 vacancies in the medical health department and 26,917 posts have already been filled in the last two and a half years and the remaining posts will be filled soon.

He said that the cabinet has also approved the repeal of the Cinematography Act 1965 and allowed online ticketing platforms managed by the AP State Film, Television and Theater Development Corporation to issue cinema tickets.

The minister said that the cabinet has also authorized the BC Welfare Minister to place a resolution in the state assembly requesting the Government of India to conduct the caste census of backward classes while conducting the 2021 general census.

The minister said that the cabinet has decided to implement the Amma Vodi scheme in June 2022 instead of January 2022 and added that there is a condition that the attendance of the students should be 75 percent to be eligible for the scheme and to give wide publicity. also decided. For this.
