South star Prabhas, who once again impressed the audience in Radhe Shyam, is gearing up for writer-director Maruthi’s upcoming film Raja Deluxe. It is a horror-comedy which is likely to release by the end of this year. Now, it is reported that the film will mark another project of Prabhas with Anushka Shetty.
Earlier, reports of Mehreen Kaur Pirzada starring opposite Prabhas in the film were trending for a few days. However, the makers are yet to pay heed to the rumors and it is yet to be decided which of the two actresses will join the cast of the film.
If Anushka comes on board, this will be her fifth project with Prabhas. The two have previously worked together in the Badla, Mirchi and Bahubali franchises.
According to reports, Raja Deluxe will be similar to Maruti’s 2013 directorial Prem Katha Chitram. Prabhas will also be seen romancing Malavika Mohanan and Srileela in the film.

On the work front, Prabhas has a lot of projects lined up for him. He will be seen in films like Salaar, Adipurush and Spirit. Prabhas will also be seen in Nag Ashwin and Siddharth Anand’s upcoming films. Salar is written and directed by KGF fame Prashant Neel. It will release on April 14 this year. Aadipurush is directed by Om Raut and will release on January 14 next year.
Maruti, on the other hand, is working on the post-production of its action-comedy Pakka commercial. The film will reportedly hit the theaters on July 1 this year.
