Anushka Sharma, who is currently sweating it out on the field for her upcoming film ‘Chakda Express’, recently shared her ordeal courtesy the physical training for the film. The actress shared a selfie from the downtime of her practice session on the Story section of her Instagram. The selfie shows him in a white T-shirt with his hair tied at the back.

He wrote on the picture, “I wish I had played some cricket in childhood, aaj halat aise na hota (I wish I had played some cricket in childhood, maybe then I would not have suffered like this today).”

Directed by Prosit Roy, ‘Chakda Express’ is based on the life of Jhulan Goswami, who became the second Indian woman cricketer to receive the Padma Shri in 2012. The film marks Anushka’s return to acting after four years.

On her birthday, earlier this month, the actress-producer spoke about work-family life balance and how she is focusing on being a part of the Hindi film industry’s best script. This, he said, would make it worth living away from his one-year-old child, Vamika.

Anushka says, “I have always wanted to be a part of the best script that comes my way. I feel blessed that I am in a position to choose the kind of films that I want to do today. The time also justifies when I will spend away from my baby.

“I’ve always been looking for balance in life and that’s where my priority is now. I want to focus equally on my work life and my family life.”

The actress says her focus is on the quality of the films she does.

“I am always on the lookout for these special scripts that fill me with joy. I will always be ready to do projects that are incredibly interesting, accurately represent women in cinema and are disruptive and beyond content. .

“Whenever they come to me, I’ll be very happy to do it. That’s how I’m getting closer to my career,” she says.
