The VJ and actress took to her handle on Thursday to share a heartfelt message that was all about sibling banter. “A love like this… Congratulations Chicken and Fu in law,” Anusha said in the post that featured a handful of dreamy photos from the wedding.
She went on to add with heart emoticons, “I love you both so very much and watching every day go by with so many people that love you and love to celebrate you was the most beautiful thing ever.”
“As a sister dealing with Bridezilla was worth it because she became cinderella in the end,” she quipped as she teased her sister and new brother-in-law saying, “Farhan we hand her over to you now! You can call us whenever you need help, we’ve changed our numbers though.”
Farhan and Shibani got hitched last weekend in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. The couple exchanged vows at Javed Akhtar‘s Khandala farmhouse on February 19.
While Farhan rocked a tux, Shibani stunned in a custom red gown that she paired with a veil.
The proud wifey announced her marriage on her handle and even changed her name on her profiles to Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar, She also updated her bio that now reads, ‘Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer and Mrs Akhtar’ in her bio.
