Anurag Kashyap recently appeared on his daughter’s podcast, where he commented on the possibilities of a third marriage and relationship.

Anurag Kashyap got married to film editor Aarti Bajaj, while his second marriage was to actress Kalki Koechlin. Currently, he is living with his daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap.
Anurag Kashyap recently appeared on his daughter’s podcast, Young, Dumb & Anxious, where he commented on the possibilities of a third marriage and relationship. In the podcast, the filmmaker clarified that he is not fit for a relationship. He said, “I have realised that I am not a relationship person. I can’t because I am obsessed with my films, my work, and the kind of films I make. I would have been very good in relationships if I had been born in Europe and made films there. Because there is a royalty system. Because the money would keep coming in. But here, there is no royalty, there’s no system like that. So I have to make more films at a higher frequency as compared to someone who is working with a big star, who is making one film in five years.”
On this comment, Aaliyah teased him and revealed that she always fantasised that the two of them would find him a partner, and she also claimed that she always wished for a sibling.
“I just want a sibling. Since I was a kid, I was an only child. I thought since you and mom are divorced, both of you will date different people, and I will get at least one sibling from one of you,” she said.
Responding to her remark, Anurag said that he has no chance of getting married again and emphasised that he is too old now. “Your father has become old for that now,” he added.
