In the December 9 episode of Star Plus hit TV show Anupama, Anuj expressed his love for Anupama. He said that he had always loved her, but could not express it as life kept putting obstacles in his way. He said that he has seen death very closely and he cannot die in peace without telling Anupama how much he loves her. Anupama listens patiently to her Anuj.
After Anuj shares her feelings, Anupama starts explaining her situation to him. Then some goons enter the scene and start misbehaving with both of them.
At Shah House, Vanraj is happy to hear that a senior member of an organization has liked his ideas for a startup and decides to invite him for a meeting. Although Anuj begs the goons not to misbehave with Anupama, they refuse to obey and continue to harass her. This angers Anuj.
A fight ensues between Anuj and the goons and he gets injured while trying to save Anupama from the harassers. Anupama gathers courage and confronts the goons and takes Anuj to the hospital in a car. Anupama, after getting Anuj admitted to the hospital, calls Sajar and GK, but neither of them receives her call. Eventually, Anupama is forced to call her ex-husband Vanraj.
Hearing the news, Vanraj comes to the hospital. Anupama gets emotional seeing Vanraj and blames herself for all the problems in Anuj’s life. He remembers all the good moments spent with Anuj and prays for his recovery. Here, the doctor tells Anupama that if Anuj is unable to regain consciousness, he may go into a coma.
