This tweet comes as a surprise especially considering the bitter row between them last year. Talking on social media about Anupam’s pro-government stand in 2020, Naseeruddin called Anupam a sycophant and a ‘clown’.
In retaliation, Anupam had released a long video on the comments calling Naseeruddin a brilliant actor, but he said that despite the huge success, he spent his entire life in despair.

On the work front, the National Award winning actor was last seen in the film ‘Mee Raksam’. Naseeruddin was also a part of the hit web series ‘Bandish Bandits’ where he played the role of a classical musician. Movie lovers will next see her sharing screen space with the actor Rasika Duggal in a short film.
Anupam, on the other hand, won the Best Actor award for his short film ‘Happy Birthday’ at the New York City International Film Festival in May, adding a feather to his cap.
Apart from ‘Happy Birthday’, the veteran star has several other projects lined up including ‘The Last Show’, ‘Mungilal Rocks’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’.
