After Unchai, Kartikeya 2 and The Kashmir Files, Anupam Kher will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, which is an addition to the filmmaker’s critically acclaimed film Life in a Metro. While the shooting of the same is going on at a steady pace, Anupam Kher’s fans are eagerly waiting for him to update him with the progress. Keeping up with that trajectory, Anupam Kher shared an ‘entertaining’ clip on Saturday.
The veteran actor took to his Instagram handle and posted a video of his director Anurag Basu preparing a hot plate of egg dosa for him. The two can be seen chatting on the sets of their film. In this clip, Anupam Kher urges everyone on the floor to be quiet as Anurag Basu was busy honing his culinary skills. Meanwhile, the actor explained the all-important process of cooking the delicious dish. The camera also pans and momentarily captures several people standing on the set. Anupam Kher also tried to help Basu by trying to open the seal of a tightly closed bottle of oil. Anurag Basu made up for it by adding butter to his dish.
Ludo then proceeded to present the dish to filmmaker Anupam Kher, who asked everyone to clap. He even jokingly said, “Cast me in each of your films”. On this, Anurag Basu said, “In every film, you will only eat the dish made by me.” Kher captioned the clip as, “Today’s breaking news: Anurag Basu makes egg dosa for Anupam Kher on the sets of #MetroInDino… WATCH… LEARN… EAT… AND ENJOY Do !! Ever since Metro In Dino was announced, fans have been eager to witness Anurag Basu’s tale of life, love and loss once again. Even though this film is the only sequel to the hit film Life in a Metro, the anticipation remains the same. to buzz That is, the makers are locking December 8 to release the film.
Bringing together heartwarming stories of contemporary couples, producer Bhushan Kumar and ace director Anurag Basu have set the date. Featuring an ensemble cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh, the anthology will hit the theaters on December 8, 2023.
Produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, Metro… nowadays depicts the stories of sour relationships with the modern day scenario. Exploring diverse yet universal tales of different facets, colors and moods of love, this contemporary tale will have a musical score by Pritam that will complement the mood of the film as well as enhance the experience altogether.
The music of Metro In Dino will be composed by Pritam, similar to the super-hit numbers from the 2007 film. The previous film starred Kangana Ranaut, Shiney Ahuja, Shilpa Shetty, Dharmendra, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles.
