Anupam Kher disappoints India’s Apple Watch missing from Olympic collection in NY store

The Apple Store displayed customized watches, representing each nation participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games, in a store in New York. However, a clock representing India was missing. Actor Anupam Kher, who was exclusively at the Apple Store in the US, pointed this out on social media.

In one of the videos, Kher showed off watches representing other countries including Jamaica, France, Australia and Canada. Each watch had a flag which was a symbol of its respective nation. The initials of the countries were written on the front of the clocks.

Sharing the clip, Anupam wrote, “Dear @Apple! Visited your store on 5th Avenue in New York! Impressive! There were watches from the International Olympic Collection representing the flags of different countries! Disappointed not to see India’s clock there? I wonder why? We are one of the biggest consumers of #Apple products (sic)!”

Kher, who has been in the US for several weeks to shoot for his upcoming film ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’, recently shared a video of his conversation with a cab driver fan on Instagram, who failed to recognize him. Sharing the video, Anupam captioned the post, “My cab driver #JaskaranBhullar from Encounters Amritsar in NY was a dirty talking young fellow and had no idea it was me in his car. I was wearing my mask. We talked and then suddenly his expression changed to a broad smile. These are priceless moments that I enjoy with a fellow Indian in a foreign land. watch it!!
