“FC Barcelona and player Anu Fati have reached an agreement to renew their contract until 30 June 2027. The buy-out clause is set at 1 billion euros,” a club statement said.
Together with Spanish midfielder Pedri, Fati is widely regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Barcelona’s emerging group of youth.
The club’s statement described Fati as “one of football’s most popular assets at present” and “one of the team’s players with the brightest future”.
