Popular spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya Maharaj was approached to be a part of Bigg Boss 18, for which he was even offered Crores.

Bigg Boss 18 is all over the news as the makers have already begun reaching out to celebrities for the upcoming season. Although many names are circulating online, no participants have been confirmed yet. Recent reports suggest that popular spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya Maharaj was approached to be a part of the season 18, for which he was even offered crores to appear on the show, but he chose to decline the offer. While he made an appearance in the TV show Laughter Chef, it seems he may have hesitated to join Bigg Boss due to its controversial reputation.

The founder of Gauri Gopal Ashram in Vrindavan rose to fame through viral videos that showed his unique approach to solving his followers’ issues. His exceptional style might have made him an intriguing participant in the show. As of now, it’s unclear why he exactly turned down the offer despite being offered massive amount of money. His presence could have boosted the show’s appeal and it would have been intriguing to witness his interactions with host Salman Khan.

Apart from Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, other possible contestants for Bigg Boss 18 include Isha Koppikar, Shoaib Ibrahim, Sameera Reddy, Deepika Arya, Pooja Sharma, Zayn Saifi, Kashish Kapoor, Dolly Chaiwala, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Mr Faisu, Abhishek Malhan, Sheezan Khan and Harsh Beniwal. There were also rumours that Bollywood legend Rekha was also considered for the show. However, sources close to the production dismissed these reports and called it a fake news.

During his appearance on the comedy reality show Laughter Chefs, Aniruddhacharya Maharaj gave the most hilarious response to former Bigg Boss contestant Vicky Jain. During one of the segment, Vicky asked the spiritual leader if he has any advice on handling wife’s anger. In his signature style, Guruji suggested that the best way to manage such situations is to remain silent. He humourously told Vicky, “Ek ungali uthaiye, ise yahan rakhiye, aur chup ho jaiye.”

Meanwhile, the new season of Bigg Boss typically begins in October every year, but this time, there’s no confirmed premiere date yet. Even promos featuring Salman Khan has not been unveiled as the actor is busy shooting for upcoming thriller movie, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss.
