Remixing old dance numbers is not a new concept in Telugu films.
The makers of NBK 108 are planning to include an old hit song from Balaiah.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the biggest Telugu stars in the country. He has given many blockbusters and has garnered a huge fan base. Titled Balayya, his upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK 108, has created tremendous buzz on social media. Now the latest reports suggest that director Anil Ravipudi is planning to remix one of Balya’s old hit songs and include it in NBK 108. Reportedly, the song Andala Ada Bomma from Balakrishna’s hit film Samarasimha Reddy is being considered.
Remixing old dance numbers is not a new concept in Telugu films. Hence, it is not surprising that the makers of NBK 108 are considering remixing the Andala Ada Bomma song. This development has increased the publicity around NBK 108. The film was launched in December last year with a grand puja ceremony. The dazzling extravaganza saw Allu Aravind clapping for the first time and veteran director K Raghavendra Rao directing the first shot.
NBK 108 is touted to be a commercial entertainer and features actress Sreeleela in its cast.
C Rama Prasad will handle the cinematography, while Tammi Raju will be tasked with editing.
Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in Gopichand Malineni’s Veera Simha Reddy. The film opened to rave reviews from both the audience and critics alike. Apart from this, Veera Simha Reddy also did decent business at the box office. Fans have also praised Balaiah’s impressive screen presence in the film. After the release of Veera Simha Reddy, it is safe to say that Balakrishna can carry a film through his immense star power alone.
Hence trade analysts are betting big on NBK 108 as well. Filmmaker Anil Ravipudi is also basking in the success of his last film F3. Starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Varun Tej in lead roles, F3 emerged as a tremendous success at the domestic ticket windows.
