After killing her children, the woman also tried to destroy their bodies to hide the crime.
A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Nanded district of Maharashtra. A woman brutally murdered her two-year-old son and four-month-old daughter when she was stopped from going to her maternal home. After carrying out the crime, the woman took the help of her mother and brother to destroy the dead body and secretly cremated them.
Police Inspector Vikas Patil said that the incident took place at Pandurana (Tal Bhokar) in Nanded district. The police have arrested his brother and mother along with the ruthless mother. The accused mother has been identified as Dhurpada Ganpat Nimwad (30). The children killed have been identified as Datta Ganpat Nimwad (2) and Anasuiya (four months old).
Throated to silence the crying girl
This heart-wrenching incident took place on the night of May 31, around 10 pm, when all the family members were sleeping. During the day, the husband had forbade the woman to go to her maternal home. After the family members slept, the woman was leaving secretly with her two children, in which daughter Anasuya started crying. The woman thought that her husband would get up and beat her. Out of this fear, he first strangled the daughter to death while leaving the house and then buried her body in the ground near a bridge outside the village.
The woman was caught while burning the body of the girl child.
The husband could not take the son, so he was killed
Sub-divisional police officer Archana Patil said that between 8 and 9 am on June 1, the woman reached Brahmanwada village near Mudkhed with her son Datta. The husband had come to know about the woman leaving the house and he had left the house to pick her up. On the way he saw his wife and son in a sugarcane field near the Gurudwara in Brahmanwada Shivra. Seeing her husband, the woman ran away and hid in the sugarcane field. The husband was searching for them that the sound of the child’s scream came from the middle of the field and after some time when the husband reached there, the child was found dead.
Woman trapped in an attempt to erase daughter’s body
After this the woman reached her maternal home and along with her brother, mother went to her in-laws’ house to remove the dead body of her daughter. The trio retrieved the girl’s body buried in the ground and then burnt it to hide the matter. Some villagers saw him doing this and informed the local police. After this, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Archana Patil and Police Inspector Vikas Patil reached the spot and took the burnt body in their possession and sent it for post-mortem. After this the woman, her mother Kondabai and brother Madhav were arrested. After rigorous interrogation, all three have confessed to their crime.
A woman killed her 6 children in Raigad
Earlier on Monday in Raigad district, a mother had thrown her six children into a well. The woman was having an argument with her husband and was beaten up by her father-in-law, his friends. After throwing the children into the well, the woman also tried to kill herself by jumping into the well. However, he was saved.
