Tamil film Andhagan is all set to hit the theaters on 25th March this year. The makers have now released a new song from the film titled Kanneil on Sony Music South YouTube channel. The music video features its star cast including Prashanth, Priya Anand, Yogi Babu, Simran, Karthik, Samuthirakani, Urvashi, Vanitha Vijayakumar, KS Ravikumar, Poovaiyar and Mohan Vaidya. The song Kannile reveals emotional moments – choreographed by Prabhu Deva, who is known for his scintillating dance moves.

Directed by Thiagarajan, the film is a remake of the superhit Hindi film Andhadhun, in which Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of a pianist. Touted to be a dark comedy, the film stars Prashanth, Karthik, Simran, Priya Anand and Samuthirakani in lead roles. Produced by Star Movies, the film has a screenplay by Thiagarajan and dialogues by Pattukottai Prabhakar. Meanwhile, the film’s cinematography is handled by Ravi Yadav.
Earlier, Andhadhun was also remade in Telugu titled Maestro. The film starred Nithin, Tamannaah and Nabha Natesh in lead roles. On the other hand, the film has also been remade in Malayalam as Brahmam, with Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead.
On the work front, Prashanth is known for Majnu, Varthaman Kalam, Kallan Kappalil Thanne and Nagarathil Sansar Vishayam. Apart from Andhagan, the actor will also be seen in the upcoming film Salute.
