Ananya Panday has said that in the industry, it’s uncommon for actresses not to form friendships while working together.
Ananya Panday’s latest movie, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), received a huge audience on Netflix, with 6.3 million views in its first week. Despite facing online trolling, Ananya has made a mark in the industry since her debut five years ago, starring in various films like Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), Khaali Peeli (2020), Gehraiyaan (2022) and Dream Girl 2 (2023).
Despite the trolls, Ananya remains unfazed. She recently responded to them, saying that their negativity has never affected her. Instead, she feels grateful for the chance to work with stars like Deepika Padukone and Bhumi Pednekar early in her career. In an interview with Femina, she also mentioned making close friends while shooting for Gehraiyaan and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
The actress added that in the industry, it’s uncommon for actresses not to form friendships while working together. She believes in women supporting each other, citing her own experience. She also appreciated the support and camaraderie she received from actresses like Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. “They have gotten a lot of support from women within the industry, I don’t think anyone understands that from the outside”, she said.
Only last week, Ananya Panday flew down to Kolkata with BFF Suhana Khan, AbRam Khan and Shah Rukh Khan and were spotted at the stands. After the match, Ananya Panday shared a candid video from the field, flaunting the joy of witnessing a team win.
