Actress Ananya PandayNarcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials visited his house on Thursday and officials handed him an official summon to appear for questioning. After this, Ananya was seen outside the NCB office in the evening.
Now, a news from India Today has shared that Ananya has asked her team to reschedule all her shoots in the coming days so that she has some time on her hands. Reportedly, she had a few shoots and commercials in the next few days. On the work front, Ananya will be seen in the upcoming film Liger, directed by Shakun Batra with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant and Adarsh Gaurav. Meanwhile, as per reports, there are talks of 3-4 films releasing in 2022-23.
Although there are speculations that Ananya is being questioned in the Mumbai drug-on-cruise case in which Aryan Khan, son of megastar Shah Rukh Khan, is facing arrest, there is no word yet from the NCB.
In fact, a team official who visited Ananya’s house told the media present there that the summons was only part of a process. “This is an investigation and it is not necessary that those called in are criminals (just because someone has been called for questioning doesn’t mean they are guilty),” the official said.
