TCS-Jaguar Land Rover Partnership
TCS announces Tata Group-owned partnership Jaguar Land Rover Last week. The British Formula E team was rebranded as Jaguar TCS Racing. According to the company, the purpose of the new partnership is to build on the existing business relationships of the company. Jaguar Land Rover and TCS have been partners for a long time, collaborating on various fronts since 2012.
“During this multi-year partnership, TCS and Jaguar will build a dynamic platform that drives research and innovation by moving towards advanced concepts and electric vehicle (EV) technologies. TCS technology transformation and experience working with key players Leveraging its leadership in the EV value chain, to help Jaguar TCS Racing become a catalyst for electrification, moving towards low carbon emissions and sustainable mobility. Partnership to shape comprehensive growth, development and change Racetrack will see creative use of data and insights from the entire electric vehicle ecosystem,” the company said in a statement.
Jaguar TCS Racing is focused on refining the most successful race car in the team’s Formula E history, including modifications in several software areas to improve energy management, make the race car faster and more efficient, the company said. The team has also spent time understanding and simulating the new qualifying system and practicing garage pitstops, which will become an important feature of the first 10 minutes of the new format.
