Anand Mahindra has been appreciative of India’s growth in recent times. Business tycoons recently shared posts appreciating the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Now, he has posted a video appreciating the semi-high speed Vande Bharat trains running in India as well as the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway. It is to be noted that it is under construction and is expected to be completed by March next year, further improving connectivity between the cities and cutting travel time.
The video shared by Anand Mahindra showed a clip recorded by the drone. In the video, the Vande Bharat Express train can be seen passing a railway line under the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway. It is estimated that the Rs 9000 crore Bengaluru-Mysore project will reduce the 117 km travel time between the two most important cities of Karnataka from 3 hours to 90 minutes. Six-lane sections of the highway and two-lane service roads on either side of the motorway have been built to form a 10-lane corridor.
Talking about Vande Bharat Express, Mysore-Bengaluru is one of the 10 routes of the semi-high-speed train in India.
