Anand Mahindra: 3 more to join Anand Mahindra, RBI board – Times of India

Mumbai: The government has appointed four members of the board reserve Bank of India – Industrialist Anand MahindraPankaj Patel and Venu Srinivasanand academic Ravindra Dholakia, The appointees will be directors for a period of four years with effect from June 14, 2022.
Mahindra is the chairman of Mahindra Group. Patel is the chairman of Zydus Lifesciences. Srinivasan is the Honorary Chairman of TVS Motor Company. Economist and member of the first Monetary Policy Committee, Dholakia is a retired professor at IIM-A.
The board currently comprises Governor Shaktikanta Das and four deputy governors, besides former deputy controllers and auditors general. Revathi IyerSachin Chaturvedi, DG Research and Information Systems for Developing Countries, C S Gurumurthy, and veteran banker SK Marathe.
