“The higher rate of inflation in November 2021 is mainly due to increase in prices of mineral oils, base metals, crude petroleum and natural gas, chemical and chemical products, food products etc. as compared to corresponding month of the previous year.” The ministry said in its review of ‘Index Numbers of Wholesale Prices in India’ for November.
