That day around 12 noon the body of Anees Khan was exhumed from the grave in Amtar Sharda Dakshin Khan Para. The district judge was present there on the orders of the court. After this the body was taken to SSKM Hospital through Green Corridor. The second post-mortem was conducted in the presence of the Executive Magistrate. The Calcutta High Court on Thursday ordered a re-post-mortem of the student leader’s body in a case seeking a CBI probe into Anees’s death. The court said that the autopsy report should be given to the court and Anees’s family. Earlier, the family had raised questions regarding the post-mortem of Anees’s body. They allege that the police conducted the post-mortem of seven bodies without informing anyone. Many speculate that a second autopsy report could turn the tide.
