There are three new entrance exams – Amrita Entrance Exam – Physical Sciences (AEEP), Life Sciences, Agricultural and Medical Sciences (AEEL), and Behavioral Sciences (AEEB).

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (AVV) has started three new entrance exams for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. There are three new entrance exams – Amrita Entrance Exam – Physical Sciences (AEEP), Amrita Entrance Exam – Life Sciences, Agricultural and Medical Sciences (AEEL), and Amrita Entrance Exam – Behavioral Sciences (Arts, Humanities and Commerce) (AEEB). The Coimbatore based private deemed university will conduct these three different entrance exams as part of the selection process.

The registration dates for the entrance test will be announced on the official website of the university after which candidates can apply. The exam will be conducted in many cities across the country.

Details on Amrita Entrance Exam

AEEP: Amrita Entrance Exam – Physics is for the candidates who have completed their graduation after class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. Students who are willing to join Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, BCA and other courses have to appear for AEEP exam. The exam will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 80 questions.

AEL: Amrita Entrance Exam – Life Sciences, Agriculture and Medical Sciences is for the candidates who have done their graduation with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their main subjects after their Plus 2. This entrance test is also of two hours duration and will be for total 80 questions. Students having Physics, Chemistry, Maths in +2 or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for BPharma or Pharm D courses without appearing in the entrance test.

AEB: Amrita Entrance Exam – Applied Science (Arts, Humanities & Commerce) is for those who have done graduation with Humanities or Commerce as their major subject after class 12th. Students aspiring to join any course with Arts, Humanities or Commerce are advised to appear for the AEEB exam.
