They have released several episodes where they recreated their special moments from their courtship years. From their ‘pehli mulaqaat’ to meeting secretly in public places and how their families got to know about their relationship, the series is surely a treat to watch. In their episodes, the couple also revealed how Amrita’s mom was not ready to accept their relationship, how veteran actor Dev Anand suspected that there must be something cooking up between the two, why Amrita turned down Aditya Chopra‘s offers multiple times and so on!
Recently, ETimes got in touch with Amrita and Anmol, and quizzed them about almost everything that they have shown in ‘Couple of Things’. Back then, Amrita said no to Aditya Chopra’s ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Neal ‘n’ Nikki’ because they had kissing scenes. Later when she was offered to be a part of Chopra’s production house, the actress chose to not take that up either. When we asked her if she looks back at it now, does she think she did the right thing and if given a chance, will she take up a similar offer today from Aditya Chopra? To this, Anmol promptly replies, “I would like to answer that part of the question if Aditya Chopra comes back to her with a similar offer… so I want to tell you that will not happen for sure. I’ll tell you why because he promised that ‘next time I come back to you, there will be an offer which will be according to you’. So this time when he comes back (with an offer), it will already be taking care of her reservations and I am hundred percent sure because he’s highly intelligent and a sensitive, matured filmmaker.”

Amrita further adds, “I would have said the same thing actually. Because you know, firstly, that was not the first time that Aditya Chopra sir had offered me something, it was the third time we were in conversation for a movie. So by then, he already knew. But because I am so lucky that he really wanted me to be a part of the YRF team which was so unbelievably amazing for any actress. It’s a huge compliment. He respected me for standing by what I believed in and he said that to me. That is why he told me, ‘don’t bother to call me and say sorry.’ Just say ‘No’ and I’ll understand.’ That’s Aditya Chopra for you and I am truly telling you that in the film industry, I have the highest regard for two people, Sooraj Barjatya and Aditya Chopra.”
