New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B has thanked Twitter chief Elon Musk for returning his coveted blue tick to the official Twitter handle, which was rolled out from April 21 after the company ended the legacy Verified programme. She called him ‘Brother Musk’ and sang a poem in Hindi for him in appreciation.

“T-4624 – Hey brother Musk! Thank you very much! The ‘Neel Kamal’ (blue tick) is back in front of my name. Now tell me brother would you like to listen to a song? I love singing. Listen: ‘Tu cheez badi hai musk musk'”, tweeted Big B in Hindi after the blue tick was back on his profile.

Twitter ended its legacy Verified program on April 20 after launching the Twitter Blue monthly subscription plan. Several popular celebrities in India, spanning from Bollywood to business leaders, have gone un-verified since April 21, creating a wave of excitement.
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli are the names of some who have lost the coveted blue tick as they have not paid for the Twitter Blue monthly subscription plan.
After losing his blue tick, Big B tweeted in Hindi: “T4623 – Hey Twitter are you listening? Now I have given money too…so that ‘neel kamal’ (blue tick) is there, put it back.” Brother. People will know that we are the same – Amitabh Bachchan. I am folding my hands, should I fall at your feet now?
