Amitabh Bachchan sends best wishes to Aahana Kumra for ‘Call My Agent: Bollywood’
The latest web series ‘Call My Agent: Bollywood’ is winning hearts as it is being appreciated by critics and audience alike. Aahana Kumra, who stars in the series, was in for a pleasant surprise as the megastar Amitabh Bachchan Best wishes for the show. The veteran actor wrote on Twitter, “T4082 – Wishing Aahana Kumra, with whom I had the pleasure of working, all the best… love.”
Aahana and Big B have worked together in Aahana’s television debut ‘Yudh’ and this praise from her former co-actor has certainly taken the actress by surprise. Commenting on the same, Aahana said, “I am over the moon for the fact that he tweeted about me and about the show.”
“It is so kind, one can really learn a lesson in humility from him, he is such a legend. It makes me feel that wherever you are or whoever you are, always support your colleagues and the people you admire We do.” she added.
The series directed by Shaad Ali has a stellar star cast which includes names like Rajat Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Jackie Shroff, Aayush Mehra, Suchitra Pillai, Rohan Joshi and Nandita Das.
About the experience of working with the talent cast of the show, Aahana said: “I got to work with so many actors, each from a different place, and working with Shaad was magical. I’ve had so much energy until I’ve met Shad – he’s so energetic, he’s quick to respond, and he’s pretty sure he’ll get a shot when.”
“It’s a stellar cast and the reason it’s grown is because it’s going to be streaming on Netflix. The exciting part is that the original is also on Netflix. I admire Camille Coutin and she’s exceptional, so everyone else from Dali,” he added.
‘Call My Agent: Bollywood’ which is currently streaming on Netflix tells the story of four casting agents from Mumbai who go everywhere to save their sinking casting agency. The series is inspired by a French show called ‘Dix Pour Saint’.
