Amitabh Bachchan Praises Abhishek Bachchan for Bob Biswas Trailer, Expresses Gratitude for Appreciation

It is always a matter of pride for parents to see their children doing well and becoming successful. Same is the case with megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who can’t stop praising his actor son’s newly released trailer. On Friday, the makers of Abhishek Bachchan’s Bob Biswas released the trailer of the film and it was an instant hit among fans and critics. Among many who loved the trailer is the actor’s father Big B, who praised his son on social media.

The veteran actor wrote on Instagram that he is proud to call Abhishek his son. Sharing the trailer, he wrote, ‘I am proud to say that you are my son!

He also tweeted to express his gratitude for all the praise the actor is getting. “T4101 – My gratifying gratitude for all the kind words of appreciation for Abhishek’s Bob Biswas.. The responses have been overwhelming.. Gratitude, Abhinandan, ever grateful” he wrote.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Abhishek and Chitrangada Singh’s Bob Biswas sees the return of the infamous contract killer from the 2012 film Kahaani. Bob Biswas, a cold-blooded serial killer who posing as an insurance agent, was played by Shashwat Chatterjee in the film starring Vidya Balan. The character’s role was small but very impactful.

The film will focus on the beginning of Bob Biswas in the business of murder for hire as we get to know his family and life apart from his suspected double life as a murderer.

The film creates the atmosphere of Kolkata well and the use of tones and subdued colors adds to the suspense of the character. It explores the life of Bob Biswas, a hitman-for-hire who finds it difficult to remember his criminal past and experiences moral dilemmas after coming out of a coma. It will premiere on ZEE5 on December 3, 2021.
