actor Amitabh Bachchan thanked fans and friends for their heartfelt wishes for him and his wife Jaya Bachchan on their 50th wedding anniversary, which saw love flood in for the Bollywood couple on various social media platforms. To mark the occasion, his daughter Shweta Bachchan shared a cute and emotional note along with an old picture, which features a young Bachchan and Jaya in a monochrome shot.
She wrote in the caption, “Happy 50th birthday to my parents, now shining in the golden realm.” When asked about the secret to a long-lasting marriage, my mother replied simply, while my The father’s response was that the wife is always right. And that, my friends, tells it all.
Amitabh Bachchan also wrote in his official blog, “June 3rd in a few…and counts as 50 years…in gratitude for the love, respect and good wishes that have come and will probably come.”
Shweta’s daughter Navya Nanda reacted to the post with a crying face and red heart emoji. She wrote, “50 years” with a red heart emoji. Navya also added the song Teri Bindiya Re from the film Abhiman as background music.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Project K, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the film will release simultaneously in two languages including Hindi and Telugu. He will also be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta’s next courtroom drama film Section 84.
