Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in Bhopal today. He inaugurated the 48th All India Police Science Congress in Bhopal. In an event organized at the Central Academy for Police Training (CAPT), Shah made a big announcement that a National Forensic Science University would be set up in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. He said that now the police will not run with the baton of the British, knowledge, evidence and reasoned policing is necessary. The police have to be two steps ahead of the criminals, for this technology is very important. The constable and head constable also have to be techno friendly.

He said that through meetings like CAPT, some states can come together to discuss the problems of their region. Same policy can be made for the same offence. There are challenges before the country, such as drugs, hawala, cyber fraud, these challenges can also be discussed. Data is the new science and big data is the solution to all the problems, it should be adopted by the police across the country. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Home Minister Narottam Mishra also accompanied him on the stage.

Earlier, while praising the Madhya Pradesh Police, Shivraj said – Our police personnel freed 21 acres of land in two years. The response time of dial 100 in the state is so short that information is received here, while our police reaches the spot.

Shah will stay in Bhopal for 8 hours

The Union Home Minister landed at Rajabhoj Airport (State Hangar) by a special aircraft at 10.30 am on Friday. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Home Minister Narottam Mishra, BJP State President VD Sharma, Bhopal MP Pragya Thakur and other cabinet ministers welcomed Shah at the state hangar. Union minister Prahlad Patel also accompanied Shah.

Amit Shah will spend 8 hours in Bhopal on Friday. After the end of the program in CAPT, the CM has left from Amit Shah. Will have lunch here. Shah will now attend two more programmes.

These two programs of Shah are the most important. First – convention of tendu patta collectors at Jamboree ground at 2.30 pm and second – two km long road show from link road number two to BJP office at 4.45 pm. Both the programs are being linked to the upcoming assembly elections-2023. 2 crore population of the state is tribal. Tribal voters exercise their influence in 87 of the 230 assembly seats. The BJP, which came in election mode, is trying to strengthen its mobilization among them.

Today Rs 122 crore bonus will be distributed

Many big announcements will be made for 35 lakh collectors in the Tendu Patta Sammelan. The most prominent announcement will be to convert 827 forest villages into revenue villages. Apart from this, tendu patta collectors and timber will also distribute a bonus of Rs 122 crore on bamboo production. One lakh tribal sections are expected to attend the event.

This is BJP’s second mega event in 6 months for tribals at Jamboori Maidan in Bhopal. Earlier on November 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reached the convention of tribals. Shah will reach Lal Parade Ground at 6:15 pm. From here at 6:35, his helicopter will take off for the state hangar.

  • At present, tendu patta collectors get 70% bonus in the state. In the new announcement, according to the PESA Act, 75% will be given to the collectors on the profit from the sale of tendu leaves, 10% for the socio-economic welfare of the collectors, 10% on the conservation of minor forest produce species in the forest areas and 5% to the gram sabhas.   • The Forest Department will now give 33% of the amount received from the entry of tourists to the National Parks to the Forest Committees. The committee will be able to do eco-tourism work in the allotted area. The income from this will go to the forest committee.
  • One-third of the villages of the state are situated in or near the forest areas. Their number is about 15 thousand, whose livelihood is based on the forest. Micro plan will be brought to increase employment opportunities in 5000 forest committees.
  • Forest committees will be constituted by the Gram Sabha. It will be mandatory to include women in the committee. As per the spirit of PESA Act, Gram Sabhas will get full rights to minor forest produce. Mahua, Tendu leaves, Harra, Bahera, Amla and Chironji are prominent in forest produce.
