Amit Shah And Nitin Gadkari, Change Their Names On X

Top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari, changed their names on a platform to ‘Modi ka Parivar’ (Modi’s family) on Monday.

The renaming to ‘Modi ka Parivar’ was initiated following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in Telangana, where he asserted that 140 crore countrymen are his family. He emphasized that every poor person in the nation is also part of his family, regardless of having no one, indicating a deep sense of connection.

Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Modi ka Parivar (Modi’s family)’ statement was perceived as a counter to the INDIA bloc alliance. Responding to RJD leader Lalu Yadav’s speech, Modi stated, “The entire country acknowledges being part of Modi’s family” and reiterated, “Those without anyone also belong to Modi and he belongs to them.”

At the ‘Jan Vishwas Maha Rally’ in Patna on Sunday, the issue of ‘parivaarvaad’ was addressed by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav, noting that Narendra Modi is currently being targeted. It was pointed out that Modi’s lack of children or family should be addressed first. Additionally, criticism was directed towards Modi’s failure to shave his head and beard following his mother’s death, a traditional Hindu mourning practice.
