Amit Khare, a former Indian Administrative Service officer, has been appointed as an advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Former bureaucrat Khare retired as the Higher Education Secretary only last month. In an order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, it has been said that he has been appointed to this post for two years.

FIR was lodged against Lalu in the fodder scam as DM of Chaibasa

The investigation into the fodder scam was started on his own written FIR as District Magistrate, in which many top leaders and officials including former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and Jagannath Mishra were found guilty. Lalu Prasad Yadav was till recently serving a sentence in Ranchi jail in a case related to fodder scam. He also played an important role in formulating the New Education Policy 2020 under the direction of Prime Minister Modi and in changing digital media rules while in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

If two Sinhas went, they came true
During the last few days, former cabinet secretary PK Sinha and former secretary Amarjit Sinha had resigned from the post of advisors in the PMO. Amit Khare has been appointed on the vacant place after his removal.

Amit Khare’s wife Nidhi Khare is also a 1992 batch IAS of Jharkhand cadre and is currently working as Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs.
