Ishaan Khatter’s mother, actress Neelima Azeem has made some new revelations about Ishaan’s equation with Ananya Panday. There have been reports of Ishaan and Ananya dating for a long time. The two reportedly grew close during the shooting of their 2020 release Khaali Peeli, but they maintained that they are good friends. Now, Nelima has also emphasized that they are ‘great friends’ but that he is an important part of her life.
Speaking to India Today, Nelima said, “She is part of our inner circle and family circle. She is a good friend of Shahid (Kapoor) and Meera (Rajput). And obviously, he is an important part of Ishaan’s life.” Neleima said that they are ‘good partners’. Earlier, Ananya was seen attending Shahid’s birthday party with Ishaan.
Nelima also praised everyone for Ananya’s performance in Shakun Batra’s directorial venture ‘Ghehraiyaan’. The actor said that while Ananya has always shown great potential as an actor, she has “shine” with her performance in Gehrayan. Nelima said that she is very happy with the praise that Ananya has received for her performance.
Gehraiyaan starred Ananya alongside actors like Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa.
Though Ananya and Ishaan have not yet publicly confirmed their relationship, there is little doubt about what is going on between them in their social media activities. During the New Year 2022, Ananya shared a picture of a clear view of the night sky while enjoying a bonfire in Ranthambore National Park. At the same time, Ishaan also shared Instagram stories with similar locations. The actor had also posted a night scene of Akash which shows that the two were vacationing at the same place.
Ananya and Ishaan are often seen commenting on each other’s social media posts. Meanwhile, Ananya will next be seen in Vijay Deverakonda starrer Ligar, while Ishaan will be sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif and Siddhant in Phone Bhoot.
