Charu and Rajeev, who are dealing with a rough patch in their relationship for a while now, have taken a legal route and have been quite vocal about it as well. While the couple has shared they had compatibility issues since day one, things have reportedly turned ugly for the two.
Rajeev even accused Charu of hiding her first marriage from him. However, reacting to the same, Charu in an exclusive interview with ETimesTV said “He is claiming that he didn’t know about my first marriage! Not only did he know about it, but also appreciated me for moving on from my past and making it on my own in Mumbai. My first marriage happened in February 2007 when I was just 18 and we separated in November 2016 owing to compatibility issues. Rajeev has accused me of being a bad mother as he doesn’t appreciate me posting Ziana’s pictures on social media. He says
nazar lag jaati hai. I am not superstitious like him and don’t want my daughter to be exposed to such a mindset.”
She further talked about the divorce and said, “I know you people have doubts and questions about my decision (of getting a divorce). Some people think I am wrong but I’d like to say I have thought through everything. It’s a decision not taken in haste or an emotional state. I am well aware of what I am doing and I feel it’s right. It’s not for me but Ziana.”
