American Orthodox rabbis accused of being secretly evangelical Christians

The father and son in question, Michael and Kalev Isaacson, have served as rabbis in Orthodox Jewish communities throughout the United States. These include Portland, Milwaukee, Houston and currently Phoenix. While living in Houston from 2014-2016, Michael reportedly worked as a supervisor for the local Kashrut Association.

charges against them beneue, an Israel-based anti-missionary organization that claims to have moved whenever the suspicion of local rabbis was aroused.
investigation conducted by Jewish Chronicle confirmed these claims, revealing that Michael Isaacson, named Michael Dawson until 2019, grew up Lutheran and married in a Lutheran marriage, and whose relatives were “shocked” by his claims to be Jewish.

Isaacson reportedly drew a background with a history of being Halakili Jew and practicing Jewish traditions, all of which his family member denied Jesse.

Despite this, the father and son have managed to collect documents from the rabbis confirming their claims. This includes the semacha (coordination), with the callave being signed by Rabbi Michael Aminov, a rabbi from Arizona.

However, Benenu fears that his documentation may attempt to make him an aliyah.

The family was known to participate in an event with the Gates of Zion, an Arizona-based missionary organization.

However, when speaking to other rabbis, he denied any interest in missionary work, claiming that he was only associated with such organizations for “humanitarian” purposes.

An investigation by Benenu further revealed that Isaacson had been confronted before. In these confrontations, however, when asked whether they believed Jesus to be the Messiah, they said, “We do not reject Jesus. [Jesus] Jewish Messiah. “

Throughout his time in America, Isaacson reportedly performed a number of important Jewish rituals, including conducting marriages and divorces, writing holy scrolls such as the mezuzot, and even Orthodox conversions, among which The latter was done with Aminov, allegedly claiming to be on behalf of Israel’s chief rabbit.

If the charges against him are true, then each one of these rituals will be nullified.

When contacted by Baynenu, the office of Rabbi David Lau, the head of Israel, confirmed that Aminov was not approved to perform the conversion.

This is a developing story.
