Months after Johnny Depp won a defamation lawsuit filed by Amber Heard, he faced backlash from Johnny Depp’s massive fans. However, there are recent reports that she is leaving Hollywood and moving to Madrid, Spain with her daughter Oonagh. The Daily Mail claimed in an article, “I can tell that Heard has left Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter, Oonagh.”

A friend of Heard said: “She is bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, getting her daughter away from all the noise.” The friend also told the outlet that the 37-year-old actress may one day return to Tinseltown. “I don’t think she’s in any rush to return to work or Hollywood, but she probably will come back when the time is right,” the friend explained, reports the Daily Mail.

Notably, Heard sold her Yucca Valley, California, home in July 2022 for $1.1 million. Since then, he has spent a lot of time in Spain. Last October, the actress was spotted flaunting her bikini body on the beaches of Palma de Mallorca.

A few days ago, she was spotted playing with her daughter, Oonagh, 2, at a children’s park during their Spanish getaway. The mother of one has largely kept her child out of the public eye since welcoming him via surrogate in July 2021. Heard’s reported move to Spain comes nearly a year after her defamation lawsuit with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Depp, 59, sued Heard in 2019 for $50 million, claiming she only lied about abusing him to get more money in their divorce settlement. A year later, his ex-wife countersued him for $100 million. The lawsuit ended in June 2022 with a court order awarding Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and punitive damages for defaming the ‘Cry Baby’ actor in an op-ed piece he wrote for The Washington Post in 2018. Ordered to pay $350,000 in damages.

Heard later asked the judge to overturn the jury’s verdict, claiming that the decision was not supported by the evidence. Read also: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Twitter Reactions: Fans call it the best, compare it to Avengers Endgame
