Amazfit has launched its premium smartwatch in the country and this rugged wearable packs a lot of tricks.

Amazfit is entering premium territory with its boldest model till date, the Amazfit Falcon. The premium factor is blended with durability, with the best military-grade rating and water resistance offered by the company. The Falcon made its global debut last month, and now the brand is bringing it to the Indian market this week. These features have forced the company to keep the price levers of its product at par with the Apple Watch.

Amazfit Falcon has been launched in India as the most expensive smartwatch ever. The Falcon is priced at Rs 44,999 and is available through its online partners in the country.

So what does Amazfit bring with the Falcon smartwatch at such a hefty price tag? It features a 1.28-inch AMOLED touchscreen and the display is made of sapphire crystal glass that boasts of a top-notch durability rating. It has a built-in six-satellite positioning system that provides accurate tracking and a strong signal.

It runs on the Zepp OS platform which we have previously seen in the Amazfit GTR series and T-Rex lineup. It is developed on RTOS platform, which is light weight as well as feature rich.

The Falcon is built using an aircraft-grade TC4 titanium body and is claimed to have passed 15 military-grade tests. It can work in up to 200 meters of water which is one of the firsts for the brand. The smartwatch has 150+ sports modes as well as health-related features such as heart monitoring system, SpO2 tracker, sleep monitor and more.

Amazfit has packed the Falcon with a 500mAh battery that promises 2 weeks of battery life but with normal usage, so expect the backup claim to be less than 10 days with the Falcon at full tilt.
