The box-office line-up for the later half of 2024 includes exciting films like Baby John and Welcome 3 among others.
From Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ to Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, our favourite actors are gearing up for the release of their highly-anticipated films in the second half of 2024. While Deepika Padukone joins Rohit Shetty’s cop-verse with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, Vidya Balan returns to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise.
Here is a list of six highly-anticipated films releasing in the second half of 2024:
Ulajh
Janhvi Kapoor will be featured in a never-seen-before avatar in the film. She will play a young IFS officer who finds herself in the middle of a controversy at the peak of her career. The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on July 5 this year.
Singham Again
In the third instalment of the Singham franchise, Ajay Devgn will be joined by Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh as Sooryavanshi and Simmba, respectively. Kareena Kapoor Khan will also reprise her role as Avni. Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff will be introduced to the cop-verse as these fearless police personnel go head-on-head against Arjun Kapoor.
Pushpa 2: The Rise
Pushpa 2 will take forward the story of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj and Rashmika Mandanna’s Srivalli. The film will also feature Fahadh Faasil in a key role. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. It will have a theatrical release on 15th August 2024.
Baby John
Baby John marks Varun Dhawan’s first collaboration with Atlee, who is backing the film. In the film, Varun will play a DOP who ventures on a journey to protect his family. The film is directed by Kalees and produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
Kartik Aaryan will reprise his role as Rooh Baba in this horror-comedy. Tripti Dimrii will make her debut in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise and Vidya Balan will return after starring as Manjulika in the first film. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres around Diwali this year.
Welcome To The Jungle
The third instalment in the Welcome franchise comprises an iconic star cast, including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh and Jackie Shroff among others. Welcome to the Jungle is all scheduled to hit theatres on 20th December.
