Chandigarh: Accusing all sections in Haryana of being unhappy with the ruling coalition of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday accused the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar-led government of fulfilling any poll promise. accused of not doing.

Hooda said the opposition gave the government two years to fulfill its election promises, manifesto and common minimum program but nothing happened.

The former Chief Minister said that in such a situation, no more time can be given to the government formed only for opportunism and selfishness.

He said, therefore the Congress Legislature Party has decided that now it will go to every district and every assembly constituency among the people and establish direct communication with the people.

During the program, the opposition leaders interacted with the people in an open session and listened to their grievances.

The farmers, laborers, traders, laborers and people from different sections who reached the program put their problems in front of the opposition leaders.

After listening to their problems, Hooda said that today no section of the state is happy with the coalition government.

Commenting on paddy procurement, Hooda said: “I myself have observed in the state’s mandis (agriculture markets) that smooth procurement of paddy has not started yet despite the government changing the dates repeatedly.”

Hooda, leader of opposition in the Haryana Assembly, said farmers were forced to keep their paddy on the roads as their crop was neither being picked up from the market nor farmers were getting MSP (minimum support price) or payment.

Hooda said people are facing many problems today, including bad roads, polluted water, long power cuts, water logging, unbearably high prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas, unemployment, crime and corruption.

Alleging that the coalition government has completely turned its back on the people of the state, Hooda assured the people of Haryana that the opposition would raise these issues on the streets and in the state assembly.

Hooda further said that Haryana is burdened with debt due to unilateral policies and scams of the government.

Alleging Rs 2.5 lakh crore debt on Haryana today, Hooda said: “The future of unemployed youth is being played with in the name of government recruitment as there have been several incidents of paper leaks. Recruitment scams have become the hallmark of this government.

Recently, taking a jibe at Khattar over his recent controversial remarks giving tit-for-tat, Hooda said such statements have no place in a democracy.

“Those who are encouraging people to lift sticks will be answered on the basis of votes,” he said.

Earlier on Friday, Khattar took back his “like ko tit” remark saying it was “misunderstood” and he had no ill intentions against anyone.

Hooda further said the next ‘Vipaksh Aapke Samaksh’ program will be held in Jind.
