New Delhi: Schools in Delhi, which were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will reopen from Monday i.e. November 1. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Wednesday that all schools in Delhi are allowed to open, but “no parent will be forced to send their schools. Children go to school.”
All schools in Delhi have to ensure that classes are in the hybrid model. Students can participate in online as well as offline classes as physical presence is not mandatory, only voluntary.
As per the latest guidelines, the physical presence of the students in the class cannot exceed 50% of his/her ability.
Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also said that schools will have to ensure that all their staff are vaccinated, with at least 98 per cent getting their first dose of Covid vaccine.
All schools and educational institutions in Delhi will be allowed to open for all classes from November 1.
However, schools will continue online classes even for those students who are not willing to attend offline classes.
