‘All is Well’: Injured Sanju Samson Posts a Photo After Getting Ruled Out of Sri Lanka T20Is; Hardik Pandya Reacts

Flamboyant wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson posted a note after suffering a knee injury that ruled him out of the remaining matches of the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Samson got injured while fielding near the boundary rope as his knee got caught in the ground which was slightly soft due to dew.

Samson posted a picture on Instagram and wrote, “All is well…z you ju.”

Hardik Pandya, who is the captain of the Indian team for the Sri Lanka T20Is, also dropped a comment on the wicket-keeper’s post with a heart emoticon.

“During the 1st T20 match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Samson sustained an injury to his left knee while trying to bowl near the boundary ropes,” the BCCI said in a statement.

The BCCI medical team took him to Mumbai this afternoon for scans and expert opinion and he has been advised rest and rehabilitation.

Punjab Kings wicket-keeper batsman Jitesh Sharma has been included in the squad in place of Samson.

Meanwhile, in the series opener, Samson had a golden opportunity to showcase his talent and stake claim for a permanent spot in the XI but the wicket-keeper batsman had a forgettable night with the bat and was dismissed for just 5 runs. Have become.
