NEW DELHI: As soon as Alia Bhatt broke the news of her pregnancy on Monday, her fans, family and well-wishers flooded her Instagram post with many congratulatory messages.
While Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and mother Neetu Kapoor were overjoyed and expressed their excitement on social media, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan was not far behind.
Sharing a gratitude post after Ranbir-Alia shared the pregnancy announcement, their mother shared two unseen pictures from their South Africa vacation and congratulated the couple.
Sharing the pictures on his Instagram handle, he wrote, “Thank you
May your gotra increase…”
In unseen pictures, Ranbir and Alia can be seen taking selfies together and in another picture, the two can be seen sitting in a car as they go for a jungle safari. Both can be seen in their winter dresses.
For those unaware, congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Alia and Ranbir ever since Alia announced that she is expecting her first child.
Adding a picture from her ultrasound appointment on Instagram, Alia wrote, “Our baby….. coming soon.” She also posted a picture which has a lion and a lioness and their cub.
Earlier today, in an interview, Soni expressed her happiness and shared, “I am just so happy. We all are. Bringing a new life into this world, creating a new life is the most important power and life for two people. The confirming moment is… So, so happy for Ranbir and Alia! Can’t wait to welcome the little baby girl as well as be a grandmother. It’s all too overwhelming.”
